Howden Bootlegs Rock'em Sock'em Troopers

Rock'em Sock'em Troopers is a toy that was inspired by two toys that were released before Howden was born. Unfortunately he was born in the crappy 90s, so he missed out on all the great toys. This work was a homage to those toys (Rock'em Sock'em Robots and first generation Star Wars). Instead of just copying Rock'em Sock'em Robots, he thought it would be more interesting to give the figures a fun boxer pose.
He liked the idea that somewhere in the galaxy there is a fight club for mentally unstable stormtroopers that destroy each other in the ring.

Rock'em Sock'em Troopers are painted, solid resin figures standing at 3.75". They are $35 each and can be purchased on Howden Bootlegs Instagram or Facebook.

Jerry Macaluso Launches PORTAL POPPERZ: An '80s Style Creature Feature on Kickstarter
Creature Features haven't been the same since the 1980s. PORTAL POPPERZ is going to change that.

PORTAL POPPERZ is a 1980s-style creature feature in the spirit of films like Gremlins, that expertly balanced their laughs with screams.

An augmented reality game called Portal Popperz has become a cultural phenomenon, and it seems like everyone has their eyes glued to their smartphones trying to catch the digital creatures. But when a motley crew of misfits discover the Popperz are spawning in the real world, it's up to our unlikely heroes to halt their path of destruction.

Directed by special effects artist and toy designer, Jerry Macaluso, Portal Popperz will focus on traditional practical effects, puppets and good old-fashioned rubber monster suits.

We here at Tenacious are very happy to support Jerry in this awesome project. Jerry is always someone we enjoy talking to at the conventions, and he has been a consistent supporter of all of our Kickstarter efforts. A solid dude. This flick looks rad and we cant wait to see the finished product!

Lots of rewards, including film credits, digital downloads of the film, posters, DVDs, and resin toys! For $2500 you can even GET KILLED IN THE FILM which is pretty fucking epic.
